#SaveTheWater

AI Is Cool… But It’s Thirsty

Every time we use AI (chatbots, filters, generators, etc.) real water and energy get used behind the scenes. Let’s learn how it works and how we can help!

What’s Going On?

AI runs on giant computers called data centers. These computers get super hot, so they use tons of water to cool down. The more people use AI… the more water gets used.

We’re not trying to cancel AI. We love it too! We just want everyone to understand what’s happening so we can make smart choices.
